Being on a trip means sleeping in different houses, homes, flats, apartments and beds. This time however I’m sleeping almost on the floor. To be exact, on an inflatable mattress with holes, which I have to pump up every half hour or so. At the beginning of the night I try to do it, but after a few times I just sleep on an uninflatable mattress skin, under a mink duvet! And above my head, hanging on the wall, there is an original lithograph by Toulouse-Lautrec!!! What luxury!!!

O SPANIU NA PODŁODZE, LUKSUSACH I NOWYM ROKU

Łóżko jedno, drugie, dziesiąte. Żadne moje. Mieszkanie piętnaste, dom trzeci. Nie moje. Spanie pod kocem, pod pierzyną lub bez. Na sienniku, ziarnku grochu, ogromnym łożu lub dziurawym dmuchanym materacu, ale pod narzutą z norek i najprawdziwszym Toulouse-Lautrec’iem na ścianie (dzisiaj)! Zadziwiające różnorodności tego świata. Magiczne niekiedy sny. Orły nocne na środku skrzyżowań zaśnieżonych. Korytarze dworców i lotnisk. Kilometry połykane wręcz.

Dziękuje wszystkim moim gospodarzom za tak ciepłe przyjęcia mojej osoby, za karmienie mnie i pojenie! Szczęśliwego Nowego Roku!
